Powering the Monitor
Open the battery cover on the back of the monitor. The cover remains attached
to the monitor. Insert a new 9V alkaline battery, making sure to observe proper
battery polarity (positive to positive, negative to negative.) A power adapter can
be purchased separately; see “Optional Accessories” on page 3.
Setting Up the Monitor
The alarm tone, volume control, and time delay switches are located in the battery
compartment. Open the battery cover on the back of the monitor to access these
three options.

Loud Local Alarm only

Soft Local Alarm only
Nurse Call
Alert at nurse station. If a nurse call cord is not
connected to the monitor, the local alarm sounds.
TONE SELECT Switch:
Choose from 4 different
tones
DELAY Switch:
Choose 0 or 2 second
alarm delay
