9. REPLACEMENT OF BASIC COMPONENTS
Main components of the pasta maker can be replaced after removal of the front cover. All operations
must be performed by qualified technicians. Before beginning work, close the gas supply to the unit and
disconnect the power supply. Wait until the appliance has cooled down.
a. Gas valve
•
unscrew the copper tube with a diameter of 10mm from the main burner, key 17
•
unscrew the copper tube with a diameter of 6mm from the burner pilot, key 9
•
unscrew the safety thermocouple, key 10
•
unscrew the gas valve from the pipe
•
screw in the new valve, reverse the other steps
b. Safety thermocouple
•
unscrew the thermocouple from the thermostatic valve, key 10
•
unscrew the pilot from the burner chamber housing
•
unscrew the thermocouple from the pilot
•
replace the thermocouple, reverse the other steps
c. Electrode
•
remove the high voltage cable from the electrode
•
unscrew the pilot from the burner chamber housing
•
unscrew the electrode
•
replace the electrode, reverse the other steps
d. Ignition switch
•
disconnect electrical wires from the ignition switch
•
remove the switch from the front panel
•
replace the switch, reverse the other steps
e. Spark generator
•
open the box where the generator is - unscrew the cover
•
disconnect the generator from the power wires
•
replace the generator, the reverse other steps
f. Main burner
•
unscrew the cover
•
unscrew the elbow mounting the main burner nozzle
•
unscrew the burner cover and bracket
•
pull the burner out of the chamber
•
replace the burner; reverse the other steps
g. Burner pilot
•
unscrew the cover
•
unscrew the pilot supply tube
•
unscrew the thermocouple
•
remove the electrode power supply cord
•
unscrew the pilot
•
install a new flame pilot, reverse the other steps
DANGER
After replacing the gas system components, test the system for tightness with a gas detektor.
