7.2 Mounting / dismounting, operating position
• The device is supplied with a mounting bracket fitted. Please ensure that the position
of the washer is not changed during installation.
• The device should be directed towards the area to be covered.
• Install the device so that water which has penetrated into the equipment can drain out.
• Please make sure, that the ambient temperature is within the permissible temperature
range.
• The enclosure material polyamide PA 12 is suited for all climatic conditions as well as
marine applications.
7.2.1 Opening and Closing of the Connection Enclosure
• Remove the 4 cross head screws.
• Open cover.
• Proceed in reverse order to close.
• Tightening torque of screws 2 ... 3 Nm.
7.2.2 Cable Entries
Please note:
• the required dust resistance!
• the required type of protection!
• the required temperature resistance!
• the IP degree of protection according to the rating plate!
• the operating instructions of the cable glands and stopping plugs!
• the required tightening torques!
• the range of the permissible cable diameter!

• Terminal sleeves are fitted, they must be gas-tight and applied with a
suitable tool.

• Carefully remove or replace the components.
• Exposed joint surfaces must not be damaged and must be protected
from dust and dirt.

Cable glands and stopping plugs which are not approved.
Explosion protection is impaired!
• Only use separately certified cable glands and stopping plugs.
