Connection terminal

Transport and storage are only permissible in the original packaging.
8 Installation
Mains connection :
 The wiring connection must be made very meticulously.
 The wiring insulation must extend all the way to the terminal. When baring cables, the
conductor itself must not be damaged (notched).
 By appropriately choosing the cables being utilised and by properly laying the cables,
it must be ensured that the maximum permissible conductor temperatures are not

exceeded.
 Pay attention to the specifications in the technical data relating to the terminals.
9 Commissioning
Before you commission the terminal, please ensure that:

The terminal has been installed in accordance with the standards

The terminal is not damaged

The connections have been correctly made

All screws are tightened firmly
10 Maintenance
Maintenance work on the terminals must only be performed by personnel who are both
authorised and suitably trained for this purpose.
Before commencing any such work, switch off the power reaching the terminals.
The following points must be verified before any maintenance work is carried out:

that the terminal cables are properly positioned

adherence to the maximum permissible temperature (as per IEC/EN 60079-0)

that the plastic enclosures are free of cracks
