Switch off the squelch function of your radio set: The FM noise should
be audible in the loudspeaker. Now adjust the noise such that it is
easily audible. If your radio set now switches periodically over to
transmit mode and back to receive mode, the VOX is activated by the
received signal. Thus, the Anti-Trip function needs to be adjusted.
To do so, remove the cover of the Anti-Trip (7). Use an appropriate
screwdriver to turn the Anti-Trip control clockwise until the VOX switches
back to and remains in receive mode (please bear in mind that the
control does not have any stop).
Adjusting the microphone volume (Mike Gain)
The Mike Gain (8) control is used to adapt the microphone volume
and is preset ex works. With a very large distance between the driver
and the microphone, the Mike Gain setting must possibly be increased.
To do so, remove the cover of the Mike Gain control (8) and use a
screwdriver to adjust the microphone volume (this control does not
have any stop, too).
After having adjusted all settings, install the covers again to protect
the controls.
Care instructions
Protect your operating device and the microphone against humidity/
moistness, dust/contamination, strong vibrations and extreme tempe-
ratures.
Do not dip the device components into water or other liquids. Clean
the housings by means of a slightly damp, lint-free cloth, do not at all
use detergents or solvents.
Disposal instruction
Electric and electronic devices are not to be thrown into the domestic
waste. Deliver devices that are out of order/used with a corresponding
collecting point. Please contact your local authorities for corresponding
information.
