Refractory
The Refractory parameter determines the amount of time that the device is unresponsive to signals
following a sensed or paced event for the corresponding channel. The refractory period for the
corresponding channel is initiated by a sensed or paced event on that channel and either ends when
the period times out or is reset when another sensed or paced event occurs on that channel.
In AAI
, the Refractory parameter determines the atrial refractory period. In dual-chamber modes,
the Refractory parameter determines the post-ventricular atrial refractory period.
