Voltage levels in the idle status:
• between terminals "b" and "c" at
the BNG 630;
14.5 - 16 V AC
• between terminals "+" and "-" at
the BNG 630;
27 - 28 V DC
• between terminals "B1 (-)" and
"B2 (+)" at the BTLM 630;
15 V DC ,
LED at the BTLM lights up in green.
• between terminals "BUS" and
"BUS" at the BHT 730;
13 - 15 V
DC.
A
No function
• The LED at the BTLM flashes green
crackling noise in the BTLM; short
circuit at the bus between terminals
B1 and B2.
• No green LED alight in the idle
status:
Voltage overload b/c 13.5 V AC due
to connection of too many call
button modules. Use separate vol-
tage supply or replace all tubular
lamps by call button module lighting
TB 611-01.
B
No door call after call button
actuation
Measure voltage:
• Between terminals "B1 (-)" and
"B2 (+)" at the BTLM 630; 23.5-25
V DC, the LED at the BTLM lights up
in red.
• Between terminals "BUS" and
"BUS" at the most distant BHT 730;
> 21 V DC, while call signal is
sounding.
Voltage OK:
• Relevant BHT not programmed
Voltage not OK:
• Terminal "+/-" 28 V DC from the
BNG 630 missing; Exchange fuse 2 -
1 AT. Check supply line from the
BNG to the BTLM, check correct
polarity.
• Output voltage between terminal
"+/-" at the BNG too low, set to 28
V with potentiometer at the BNG.
• Conductor length > 200 m;
The red LED at the BTLM lights up
but voltage at the "Bus" terminal of
the relevant BHT is < 21 V DC.

With several DLs (max. 3) in the
system, in some cases wrong
user is called:
• Differing arrangement / assign-
ment of call button modules.

BHT/BNS cannot be programmed
• Device defective, exchange
• Programming card worn, exchange
• Conductor length > 200 m;

No storey call at the BHT:
Measure voltage:
• Between terminal "B1 (-)" and
terminal "B2 (+)" BTLM 15 V DC.
The LED at the BTLM lights up in
green.
• At the BHT furthest distant from
the BTLM at the "BUS" terminals
while the call signal sounds, 12-15 V
DC
Voltage OK:
• Conductor length > 200 m;
Voltage at the "Bus" terminal of the
relevant BHT < 12 V DC.
• System is not in the idle status
(green LED at the BTLM does not
light up)
• Jumper between the "Br" and
"Br" terminals at the most distant
BTLM not inserted.
Note!
No storey call possible during opera-
ting statuses call, speech, speech
standby
No storey call in case of parallel
devices:
• ERT terminal at the BHT the wrong
way round.
Voltage not OK:
• 13.5 V AC voltage from BNG 630
missing at terminal "b/c", fuse 3
defective at the BNG; check supply
line from BNG to BTLM.

No speech connection after
placing a call:
Voltage during speech standby:
(Handset replaced at the HT)
between terminal "B1 (-)" and ter-
minal "B2 (+)" BTLM 10-12 V DC.
After placement of a call, the LED
lights up in yellow at the BTLM.
Voltage not OK:
• BTLM defective
Voltage OK:
• A different user was called in the
meantime
• Speech standby of max. 50 sec.
exceeded after placement of a call.
Voltage during speech operation
Between the "Bus" terminal and the
"Bus" terminal BHT 7-9 V DC.

Speech connection is interrupted
• Speech standby (max. 50 secs.)
exceeded.
• During the speech connection, a
different user was called.
H
No door release actuation
possible
• BHT was not previously called
• Conductor length > 200 m;
Voltage at terminals "B1" and "B2"
at the BTLM > 3 V DC.

Connection interrupted on door
release actuation
• Door release too low-resistance /
short circuit; Use door release > 20
Ohm or separate voltage supply.

Feedback whistling at the BTL
M
• Volume too high at the BTLM;
reduce volume at the potentiometer
in the BTLM
• Total laid conductor network
> 500 m; reduce volume
• One BHT or BNS defective; Localize
unit and exchange.
