INFLATING THE TIRES
NOTE:
The tires are inflated when shipped, but it is normal for them to lose some pressure over time.
Always inflate the tires to the correct PSI before first time use.
Please read the specification sheet to get the information of tire pressure.
Using a bicycle-style tire pump to inflate the tire to the recommended pressure.
Do
NOT
inflate
to the maximum pressure indicated on the sidewall of the tire.
Note:
The pressurized air supplied at gas stations are designed to inflate high-volume automobile tires.
If you use this type of compressed air to inflate your motorcycle tires, be careful and make sure the
pressure gauge is working. Use very short bursts to inflate the tire, and if you inadvertently over-inflate
the tire, release the excess pressure immediately.
Important Tire information
Note
: Tires are the only contact between the vehicle and the ground. Replace worn/damaged tires and
check your tires for damage and excess wear regularly to ensure safe and trouble free operation.
When replacing tires, always use the correct size. Consult with your SSR dealer.
It is strongly recommended that the tire assembly and disassembly should be done by a qualified
technician with necessary skills and tools.
Tire aging/weathering
Tire aging is unavoidable even the motorcycle is not ridden frequently. The rubber may oxidize and
crack over time. If the tire appears to be cracking, consult your SSR dealer or motorcycle tire shop to
determine if it’s time to replace one or both tires.
