SPEAKER PLACEMENT
Following are some tips and guidelines to assist in proper placement and getting the most out of
your new studio monitors.
•
Always power off and unplug the speakers
from the power source before making any
electrical or audio connections.
•
If possible, mount the speakers on speaker
stands. If the speakers must be placed on a
desk or table, use acoustic isolation pads (not
included) to isolate the speaker from the desk
surface to help prevent unwanted resonances.
•
Ideally, the speakers should be placed at two
corners of an equilateral triangle, with your
head at the tip and the speakers slightly
angled in towards your listening position.
•
Ideally, the speakers should be installed so
that the point on the speaker that is midway
between the tweeter and woofer is at ear
height.
