BATTERY REPLACEMENT
The battery icon on the left side of the display will lose segments as the battery life wanes. The
low battery indicator “
LO
” will display on LCD display when battery’s power is insufficient to
operate the scale.
STEP 1
: While the tray is empty, turn the scale over with the feet facing in the upward position.
STEP 2
: Slide the battery compartment cover open as the arrow on cover indicates (Figure 3).
STEP 3
: Remove and unclip the old 9-volt battery and properly dispose of.
STEP 4
: Clip in a new 9-volt battery.
STEP 5
: Replace the battery compartment cover.
STEP 6
: Turn the scale over to an upright position.
STEP 7
: Press the “
TARE/ON/OFF
” button to confirm scale is operating.
NOTE
: If using the optional AC power supply, the battery icon remains on and full, even if there
is no battery installed (Figure 4).
