SYSTEM DESCRIPTION and INTENDED USE
SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
The SR585
i
-KG Bariatric Stand-On Scale employs the latest in microprocessor and load cell
technology to provide accurate and repeatable weight data. Four (4) identically matched transducers
are strategically placed to ensure an accurate representation of the patient’s weight.
The low power microprocessor circuitry allows the SR585
i
-KG to derive its power from six (6)
common “D” cell batteries, which will provide up to 400 hours of weight readings before needing
replacement. This eliminates the need for an external battery charger.
The SR585
i
-KG can be powered by a Medical Grade AC wall power supply, with the “D” cell
batteries providing backup power. Continuous wall power allows the unit to be always on and
ready to take weight readings without the need to make contact with the membrane switch.
The patient’s weight is displayed on a 16-character dot matrix LCD. The weight data may be viewed
in kilograms with a displayed resolution of 0.1 kg.
INTENDED USE
The
