PILOTING YOUR MUTATION 2
ARM INPUTS
The MUTATION 2 can be flown at any angle. Instead of being “stuck” in a certain Angle of Attack
by unbalanced surface area, the MUTATION 2 has a very neutral feel. It was designed to be
“longitudinally stable” which means that on the longitudinal “pitching” axis (head up, head down),
it is easily controlled.
Use your arms to control pitch (angle). If you want to fly at a lower AoA and a steeper glide path,
keep your arms extended straight and raise / lower them with palms up according to the angle
you want to fly.
By experimenting with arm position, you will quickly understand (even one skydive is very
informative) how to fly steep or flat glide angles with ease.
