Possible causes and solutions
Turns off
before boiling

Scale has built up. de-scale the kettle.

there is inadequate water in the kettle, causing the boil-
dry safety cut off to activate. Add cold water to the kettle
and leave for 2 minutes. This should reset the kettle.
Kettle will
not turn on

plug is not connected properly. Check connection.

Power cord is damaged. Return kettle for repair.

Boil-dry safety cut off has been activated. See above for
possible solution.
Particles in
water
most likely caused by scale build.
de-scale the kettle as described in the instructions.
