Special cases :
Both LED blinks
Orange
The reader is set in the “Real Time
with No Data Loss mode” but with
no bufferisation (buffer configured
to 0) and is not connected. In this
particular
situation
the
RFID
antenna is disabled: impossible to
read Tags in this mode.
Both LED are
Orange (solid)
The reader is set in the “Batch
mode” and its memory is full:
impossible to read another Tag in
this mode.

Turn on the device
Launch BaracodaManager
Search all devices
Select
the
device
corresponding
to
your
ProxRunner and add it
Choose the KEmul plugin
Hide BaracodaManager
With ProxRunner, only the Trigger
scan mode is possible.

Turn on the device
Connect the device to the terminal using the
Bluetooth software
Activate the COM Port Service (note the port
number)
Launch KEmul
In COM port settings, put the port number

The ProxRunner together with the Baracoda Manager
or the KEmul emulates a keyboard.
Put your cursor where you want the data to be
entered, then
hold
the ProxRunner button and put a
card in front of the antenna.
You may depress the button when hearing the tone.

Put the Master card in front of the antenna
Press the ProxRunner button
until the reader
reboots
(both LED blinks Green and the reader
emits a long sound)

Use Baracoda Manager to update the
reader.
Launch BaracodaManager
Search all devices
Select
the
device
corresponding
to
your
ProxRunner and add it
Click “Settings”
Click “Upgrade”
Choose the “Files of type” : “Baracoda CPU
upgrade file” or “RFID card upgrade file”
Choose the upgrade file and click “Open”
Wait that the upgrade is completed
