Zum DECT 6.0 Headset™ Set Up
Setting up the Zum DECT 6.0 Headset™
1. You will be plugging cords from your phone into the jacks on the back of your
Base Unit. First, unplug the coiled handset cord from the handset of your phone.
2. Plug that cord into the jack on the Base Unit that is labeled “Phone”.
3. Using the provided RJ-9 Phone Cord, plug one end into the jack in the Base Unit
labeled “Handset” and the other end into the jack on the handset of your phone.
4. Plug the AC charger into an outlet and into the AC charging jack on the Base Unit.
HINT: Place the Base Unit about 6” (15cm) away from your desktop phone and about
12” (30cm) from your computer to avoid interference.
