10.2 WINCH TROUBLESHOOTING
Failure Probable cause of failure Repair
The drum is not rotating Lack of oil in the hydraulic system of the machine Add hydraulic oil

The drum rotates only until the oil
gets warm
Low engine speed Increase the engine RPM to maximum
Worn hydraulic motor Replace the hydraulic motor
The winch is too noisy Worn bearings of the winch drum Replace the bearings
10.3 REMOTE CONTROL TROUBLESHOOTING
The table below lists malfunctions that are signaled by LEDs on the Transmitting Unit and the solution to those
malfunctions. If the problem persists after attempting the suggested solution, contact the support service of the
Machine Manufacturer.
Failure Probable cause Repair
The green LED blinks fast.
The red LED
¹ blinks for
3.5 minutes.
The battery is not sufficiently
charged or the Transmitting
Unit has been on for eight
hours
².
The battery needs to be replaced
with a charged one
The green LED repeats
one of the following
sequences: ONE or
TWO blinks and a pause.
The red LED
¹ blinks for
3.5 minutes.
The green LED repeats
the sequence: three
blinks and a pause.
The red LED
¹ blinks for
3.5 minutes.
The Transmitting Unit has been
on for eight hours

You need to switch off the
Transmitting Unit and start the
Radio Remote Control again.
The green LED is off.
The red LED
¹ has ONE
very long blink.
The Transmitting Unit does not
work correctly.
Contact the support service of the
Machine Manufacturer.
At Radio Remote Control start up,
the green LED is off and
the red LED
¹ has ONE long blink³.
The STOP pushbutton is
pressed.
Unlock the STOP pushbutton.
At Radio Remote Control start up,
the green LED is off and
the red LED
¹ has TWO long blinks³.
The Transmitting Unit does not
work correctly.
Contact the support service of the
Machine Manufacturer.
At Radio Remote Control start up,
the green LED is off and
the red LED has THREE long blinks
³.
The battery is very low.
The battery needs to be replaced
with a charged one
At Radio Remote Control start up,
the green LED is off and
the red LED
¹ has FOUR long blinks³.
The SAFETY command is
activated
Bring the actuators to the rest
position.
At Radio Remote Control start up,
the green LED is on and
the red LED
¹ has ONE to FOUR long blinks
and some short blinks

At least one of the actuators
corresponding to commands
is activated.
Bring the actuators to the rest
position. If necessary, it is possible
to identify the activated command
¹. Whenever the red LED illuminates, the acoustic signal device activates.
². After this signal, the Transmitting Unit switches off.
³. Press START pushbutton and hold it down until the Transmitting Unit automatically switches off.
Whenever the red LED lights up, the acoustic signaling device is activated.
