15 Technical data
Except where limit values are specified, these technical data refer to the
usual heater tolerances of ±10% at an ambient temperature of +20°C
and at the rated voltage.
NOTE:
The assignment of circulating pumps to heaters must be made using the
water-side resistance.
15.1. Fuel
Only the on the model plate of the heater specified fuel (Diesel fuel acc.
to DIN EN 590) must be used. The operation limits as per this standard
must be adhered to, that means winter diesel up to -20°C, arctic diesel
up to -40°C.
ATTENTION!
– The above mentioned temperature ranges, that means the mini-
mum permissible temperatures are determined strongly by the
quality of the used fuel.
– While using the fuels, their operating limits must be considered
and if necessary, suitable measures (nozzle preheating,
electrical heated filter) should be applied. In this regard, refer to
instructions contained in the Workshop Manual.
