Record Mode & Auto-Off Selection

To save battery life, the Environmental Quality Meter turns 

off

 automatically after 10 minutes of inactivity. To override 

this feature:

1.  With the meter turned 

on

, press 

MAX/MIN

. The meter 

displays REC, disables the Auto-Off feature, and enters 

Record Mode.

2.  While the meter displays REC, you can view both the 

maximum and minimum measured values by pressing the 

MAX/MIN

 button.

  The 

MAX/MIN

 button toggles between the maximum and 

minimum measured values.
