 (Time Weighted Average)  stands for the average  

carbon dioxide level exposure during 8 hours (working day) 
is 5,000ppm/5 days. 
 

STEL

 (Short-Term Exposure Limit) value shows the last 15 

minutes CO

2 

concentration is 30,000ppm. 

 

ASHARE

 – Standard 62 – 1989, Sec.6.1.3: Comfort (odor) 

criteria are likely to be satisfied if the ventilation rate is set 
so that 1,000ppm of CO

2

 is not exceeded.
