About This Manual

This document describes the module level operations of the XEVM642 4VSX35
Daughter Card. This daughter card is designed to be used with the TMS320DM642
Evaluation Module designed by spectrum Digital.

Notational Conventions

This document uses the following conventions.

The XEVM642 4VSX35 Daughter Card will sometimes be referred to as the Daughter
Card.

The TMS320DM642 Evaluation Module will sometimes be referred to as the EVM
DM642 or the EVM.

Program listings, program examples, and interactive displays are shown is a special
italic typeface. Here is a sample program listing.
