7.7 T1 

Alarms 

The remote card has two LEDs for each T1 connection labeled 

LOS

 and 

LNKOK

. The 

LOS

 LED is controlled by the hardware (T1 transceiver).  The 

LOS

 is on (red) to indicate 

Loss Of Signal.  The 

LNKOK

 is controlled by software and is turned on (green) to 

indicate that IPC data with good CRC is being received. 
The six LEDs labeled

component.  Each of these three values (status, alarm type, alarm component) is 
displayed for one second.  The card continuously cycles through these three displays, 
completing a cycle every three seconds.
