Complete the Replacement Replace a Boot Drive

EPLACEMENT
1.
Log into the StrataView web interface as described in the Spectra nTier
Verde User Guide .
2.
From the menu bar, select Status > Hardware . The Hardware screen
displays.
3.
Click System . The screen refreshes to show the status for the system.
4.
Examine the status of the boot drives:
nTier Verde 4U master node Confirm both boot drives indicate a good
status (a check mark in a green circle). If a boot drive does not indicate a
good status, contact Spectra Logic Technical Support (see Contacting
Spectra Logic on page 3 ).
nTier Verde 2U master node
Confirm the replacement boot drive
shows as “Rebuilding” with a warning status (an exclamation point in
yellow triangle). After approximately 30 minutes, the replacement
drive finishes rebuilding and indicates a good status (a check mark in a
green circle). If the replacement boot drive does not indicate a good
status after 60 minutes, contact Spectra Logic Technical Support (see
Contacting Spectra Logic on page 3 ).
