Spectra 64K Library Stability Kit Installation Procedure

Introduction

Caution:

The stability kit is not proven to withstand natural disasters. The
stability kit

only

allows a Spectra 64K library to be fixed to a

data center floor.

Estimated Time Required

This procedure takes about 30 minutes.

Materials and Tools Required

You need a Stability Kit from Spectra Logic (P.N. 90911009), which includes:

• Four L-shaped brackets

• Eight 1/4-20 X 5/8 screws

• A #3 Phillips screwdriver

• Channel locks

• The library front door key

• A ladder*

*will only be necessary if the side panels must be removed.
