Element List

If the initiator requests a reservation for specific elements within the library, it must
specify the elements in a list of one or more Element List Descriptors. The data format
for these descriptors is shown in the table below.

Note:

If Number of Elements is zero, the library attempts to reserve all
elements at or above the Starting Element Address. Contiguous
element addresses can therefore be reserved with a single Element
List Descriptor by setting Number of Elements to any value except 1.
Non-contiguous elements can be reserved with a single Reservation
ID by sending multiple Descriptors in a single Element List.
