device has been locked, no other host can gain access to the drive until it is unlocked.
In any case, if multiple hosts will be accessing the library, some access management
scheme must be implemented to prevent stored data written by one host from being
overwritten by another. Check with your software application for this compatibility.
Initial Configuration
How to Proceed
There are two interfaces available to configure and set options; an HTTP application
and a serial port interface. Select the appropriate method from the list below based on
your environment.
Fibre Channel environment using Soft Loop ID
—No further configuration is necessary. To
configure the Ethernet management port, use one of the Ethernet options below.
