 Digital Deterrent  

 

When the network camera detects an event, it can output predefined audio data to an 
external speaker. Check the box to enable the service.

 Digital Deterrent Setting: 

To use the Digital Deterrent with the network camera, an audio 

data file made by the user must be uploaded from your PC. Provide the path to the file 
directly, or use the 

Browse

 button to locate it. Then click the 

Upload

 button. Up to 3 

audio files can be configured. 

An audio file for Digital Deterrent can be made by Audio Recorder tool in the Central 
Management software.

 Digital Deterrent Test: 

When the setup is complete, the audio output can be tested by 

clicking the 

Test

 button.  

To remove an audio file, select index and click the 

Remove

 button.  

NOTE:

 For the proper operation of Digital Deterrent, you must enable “full duplex” on the
