a) Persons / Product

•  The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.

•  Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may become dangerous playing material

for children.

•  Assembling the product in an unsuitable location can lead to property damage and personal injury.

•  Exercise caution when assembling the product! The product might contain sharp edges. Risk of injury!

•  Only perform such operations that are required for the installation (or adjustment) of the speaker wall

mount. Never attempt to modify or repair the product.

•  Before starting the installation, check whether the rear of the speaker features suitable fastening means

for attaching the speaker wall mount.

•  Depending on the size of the loudspeaker, it may be helpful to ask a second person to assist you in

installing the product. That person could, for example, hold the speaker while you attach the speaker to

the wall mount.

•  Perform the installation thoroughly. The speaker or wall mount falling down might not only cause expensive

consequential damage but also constitutes an increased risk of injury!

•  Guide the speaker cable in such a way that it cannot get bent or jammed by the wall mount.

•  Check all screw connections every 3 months the least. Adjusting and moving the speaker or wall mount

can cause the screw connections to become loose over time.

•  Do not apply any force when moving/adjusting the speaker or wall mount. This may cause damage to the

loudspeaker.

•  Do not apply pressure to the front and/or radiating surface of the loudspeaker to align/adjust it.

•  Do not overload the speaker wall mount. Heed the manufacturer's data on the maximum weight of the

loudspeaker.

•  Do not use the speaker wall mount to support yourself or to hold on to.

•  Do not attach any other objects to the speaker wall mount except for the designated speaker.

•  In case of doubt, do not install the product yourself; have a professional do it for you.

•  Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height can damage the product.

•  Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices which are connected to the product.

b) Miscellaneous

•  Consult a professional if you require assistance with product operation, safety or connection.

•  Maintenance work, adjustments and repairs may be carried out only by a professional or at a specialist

workshop.

•  If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating instructions, contact our technical

support service or other technical personnel.

Installation

Wall and ceiling installation is only permissible, if the wall or ceiling construction is

suitable. Thin plasterboard walls or drywall over unstable subconstruction are usually

not suitable. A specialist shop may however offer special wall anchors for walls of this

kind. Contact a professional before installation in case of doubt.

Use installation materials (screws, wall anchors, etc.) that are suitable for the surface

(e.g. concrete). The included plug screws are suitable for solid walls only. The speaker

wall mount does not include special dowels and screws; those must be purchased

separately depending on the wall construction.

Ensure stability in accordance to the weight of the speaker and wall mount, and the

leverage effect.

Select the installation location carefully to ensure correct position (height and place) of

the wall mount and the attached speaker after installation.

When drilling and tightening the screws, make sure no cables or wires in the wall are

damaged. Accidentally drilling into electrical wiring poses a risk of fatal injury due to

electric shock!

Keep your own safety in mind when handling power tools (e.g. power drill). Observe all

other safety instructions in the manufacturer's instructions.

Make sure no persons are present in the area underneath the speaker wall mount or

speaker box during installation.

Observe the corresponding images in the included installation instructions.

•  Carefully select a suitable position for wall installation. The speaker wall mount with the attached speaker

boxes can be aligned after installation.

•  Use a water level to ensure the wall mount being attached vertically and facing straight upwards. The rear

side of the wall mount must lie flat against the wall/ceiling. The wall mount must be attached securely to

the wall and must not move at all. But do not over-tighten the screws.

Figure 1a and 1c:

•  In case of walls and ceilings with timber beam structures, attach the wall mounts using two screws (M-H)

and two washers (M-F). Use the wall mount as template and mark the screw positions accordingly. Ensure

a sufficiently wide and stable surface on the timber beam structure.

Figure 1b and 1d:

•  For solid walls and ceilings, attach the wall mounts using four dowels (M-I), four screws (M-H) and four

washers (M-F). Use the wall mount as template and mark the drill hole position.

Figure 2, 3 and 4:

•  Cover the screw heads on the wall mounts with the caps (C+D).

•  Speaker boxes usually feature suitable screw holes on their backside for attaching a speaker wall mount.

•  Attach the speaker connector piece to your speaker box using two screws and washers. Check whether

the provided screw size (M-A, M-B or M-C) including washer (M-D, M-E or M-F) is suitable for your speaker

box. Otherwise you will have to purchase other suitable screws and washers separately.

•  Make sure that the maximum weight (max. 3.5 kg) for the loudspeaker is not exceeded. Connect the

speaker box with the speaker connector piece to the wall mount. If necessary, work together with another

person holding the speaker box. Turn the knurled nut on the connector piece, until the speaker box is

positioned properly. Keep in mind that the speaker cable might have to be connected as well.

Figure 5

•  Loosen the knurled nut to align the speaker box. Loudspeakers should preferably be at ear height of the

sitting listener.

•  Tighten the knurled nut, once the speaker box in at the desired position.

Maintenance and cleaning

•  Never  use  aggressive  cleaning  agents,  rubbing  alcohol  or  other  chemical  solutions,  as  those  could

damage the surfaces or even affect the functionality.

•  The product is maintenance-free and does not require any care except for occasional cleaning with a

soft, dry cloth.

Disposal

At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with applicable regulatory

guidelines.

You thus fulfill your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
