c) LED indicators
The transmitter and HDMI receiver module feature LED indicators that indicate the following functions:
Transmitter LED indicator (indicates wireless connection)
•
This LED flashes quickly when the transmitter is attempting to establish a wireless connection with the
HDMI receiver module. When a connection has been established, it flashes slowly together with the
LED indicator (5) on the HDMI receiver module.
LED indicator (3) (indicates the power supply)
• This LED turns on when the transmitter is supplied with electricity.
The HDMI receiver module features LED indicators that indicate the following functions:
LED indicator (5) (indicates wireless connection)
• When the HDMI receiver module is switched on, this LED indicates that the module is supplied with
electricity.
•
This LED flashes quickly when the HDMI receiver module is attempting to establish a wireless connection
with the transmitter. When a connection has been established, it flashes slowly together with the
LED
indicator (2) on the transmitter.
LED indicator (6) (data transmission)
• This LED stays constant when data is being transmitted.
Troubleshooting
a) No image
• Switch on all devices and connect the transmitter to a USB-C™ port on the signal source. Connect the
HDMI receiver module to the power supply using the power adapter provided.
• Reduce the distance between the transmitter and HDMI receiver module and reposition them in a different
location. Do not position the devices in a place where objects, devices, walls, glass or people are in
between the transmitter and HDMI receiver module, as this will significantly reduce the range.
• Do not place any devices on the HDMI receiver module or place the HDMI receiver module between other
electrical devices. This significantly reduces the wireless range.
• Use a high-quality HDMI cable to connect the HDMI receiver module to the HDMI display device.
• Select the correct input on your TV/monitor.
• Disconnect the HDMI receiver module from the mains voltage for a few seconds. Disconnect the
transmitter from the USB-C™ port and plug it back in.
• Check the settings of the devices connected to the USB-C™ transmitter and HDMI receiver module. For
example, check that your TV is able to display the video signal from your playback device. If possible, try
connecting the playback device directly to the TV/monitor.
b) Distorted/unstable image
• Reduce the distance between the transmitter and HDMI receiver module and reposition them in a different
location.
• Reset the USB-C™ transmitter or HDMI receiver module by disconnecting it from the power supply for a
few seconds.
c) The range is too short
• Keep the transmitter and HDMI receiver module away from other devices that operate on the same
frequency range (e.g. wireless routers).
• Reposition the antenna/transmitter. For best results, both antennas should be parallel to each other.
Pointing the antennas at each other significantly reduces the range.
d) No sound
• Check that the HDMI cable on the TV/monitor and the HDMI receiver module is intact and connected
properly.
• Try connecting the cable to another HDMI input. The HDMI input may be faulty, resulting in no sound
output.
• Check that the volume is set to an audible level.
Care and Cleaning
• Always disconnect the product from the power supply before cleaning it.
• Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these may damage the
casing or cause the product to malfunction.
• Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product.
