Intended use
This product is designed to convert a digital audio signal into an analogue audio signal. It allows connection
of an audio source with digital audio output (cinch / coaxial, TOSLINK / S/PDIF) to an output device with
analogue input.
The input signal to the converter (cinch / coaxial or TOSLINK / S/PDIF) can be selected via a switch on the
product. The audio output can be done via an audio cable with cinch plugs or via headphones with a 3.5 mm
jack plug. Power is supplied via the included power adaptor or an external USB power source, such as a
computer (Mini-USB cable not included in delivery). The operation indicator indicates when the converter is
supplied with power.
It is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture, e.g. in bathrooms, must be
avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use the
product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In addition, improper
use can cause hazards such as short circuiting, fire, electric shock etc. Read the instructions carefully and

• As power supply, only use the supplied mains adaptor.
• Only connect the power adaptor to a normal mains socket connected to the public supply. Before plugging
in the power adaptor, check whether the voltage stated on the power adaptor complies with the voltage
of your electricity supplier.
• Never connect or disconnect power adaptors if your hands are wet.
• Never unplug the power adaptor from the mains socket by pulling on the cable; always use the grips on
the plug.
• When setting up the product, make sure that the cable is not pinched, kinked or damaged by sharp edges.
• Always lay the cables so that nobody can trip over or become entangled in them. This poses a risk of injury.
• For safety reasons, disconnect the power adaptor from the mains socket during storms.
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.

respective socket (COAXIAL or SPDIF) on the converter.
• Connect the round pin plug of the power cable to the 5 V/DC power socket.
• If power is to be supplied via USB, use a matching Mini-USB cable and connect it to the 5 V/DC 300 mA
USB port.
b) Connecting output (OUTPUT)
• Connect a suitable audio cable with cinch plugs to the sockets R (right, red) and L (left, white) on the
converter. Connect the audio cable to the output device.
• The output can also be via headphones with a 3.5 mm jack plug (output with headphones icon).
c) Operation
• Plug the power supply into a suitable mains socket. The operation indicator lights up.
