Intended use
The product is designed to convert a VGA video signal and an audio signal into an HDMI signal. This
converter enables playback from a PC/laptop with a VGA output to a TV with an HDMI connection. A USB
cable is included for providing power along with a VGA cable for the VGA connection. An audio cable with a
3.5 mm stereo jack plug is included for connecting the audio source to the product.
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use the
product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In addition, improper
use can cause hazards such as short circuiting, fire, electric shock etc. Read the instructions carefully and
keep them. Make this product available to third parties only together with its operating instructions.

a) Persons / Product
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may become dangerous playing material
for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high humidity, moisture,
flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and protect it from any
accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height can damage the product.
• Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices which are connected to the product.
• When setting up the product, make sure that the cable is not pinched, kinked or damaged by sharp edges.
• Always lay the cables so that nobody can trip over or become entangled in them. This poses a risk of injury.
• Never use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold room into a warm one. The
condensation generated could destroy the product. Allow the product to reach room temperature before
connecting it to the power supply and putting it to use. This may take several hours.
• It is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture, e.g. in bathrooms, must
be avoided under all circumstances.
b) Miscellaneous
• Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of the device.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs are to be performed exclusively by an expert or at a qualified shop.

support service or other technical personnel.

Operation
• Turn off all the devices that you wish to connect before connecting the cables.
• The VGA cable is already connected and screwed to the VGA connection (2) when delivered.
• Connect the other end of the VGA cable to the VGA output on your PC/laptop.
• Connect the audio cable included to the audio output on your PC/laptop and the other end to the audio
input socket (4).
• Connect an HDMI cable to the HDMI Output (3) on the converter and the HDMI input on your playback
device (e.g. TV or projector).
• Connect the Micro USB plug on the USB cable included to the USB POWER 5 V/DC Micro USB socket (5).
Connect the other end with the USB-A plug to an available USB port on your PC/laptop. Switch on your PC/
laptop The POWER indicator (1) turns on as soon as a power connection has been established.
• Turn on your playback device (e.g. TV or projector) and select the corresponding HDMI input.
Ensure that you insert and remove the cables carefully when connecting them.
Maintenance and cleaning
• Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these could damage the
housing or even impair the functioning of the device.
• Remove the product from the power supply and the connected devices before cleaning.
• Under no circumstances should you service any of the components in the interior of the product, therefore
never open/dismantle it. Do not immerse the product in water.
• A dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient for cleaning. Do not press too hard on the housing as this can lead
to scratch marks.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste. At
the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
