SAFETY OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Before operating the
MIXIT 25
ensure that the correct voltage and power supply is available
and fitted with adequate fused protection.
By the nature of the machine and operational procedure it is not possible to fully enclose the
moving parts. The operator is therefore directly responsible for the safe operation of the Mixit
25.
The Mixit 25 must only be operated by a fully trained, competent and responsible operative.
Only the operator should be permitted within the work area of the Mixit 25 and must not
operate the machine while wearing loose fitting clothing.
Before commencing work ensure that the Mixit 25 is sited on a flat level surface.
Never attempt to remove or replace the paddle arm unless the mixing bucket is stationary and
the power supply turned off.
Never attempt to remove or replace the mixing bucket unless it is stationary and the power
supply turned off.
It is absolutely essential that the operator is familiar with the procedure for stopping/starting the
Mixit 25 and especially the procedure for EMERGENCY STOPS.
The motor is fitted with a large emergency stop button. When depressed it will immediately
stop the bucket from revolving. Once stopped the Mixit 25 can only be restarted by resetting
the emergency stop button. To reset the emergency stop button and start the mixer firmly grip
the large red stop button and pull. The start button is then pressed and the mixer will operate.
The Mixit 25 has been designed for mixing a wide range of products. If operated correctly and
as instructed and used only for the purposes for which it was intended the Mixit 25 will give
many years safe and trouble free service.
In the event that any service work or repairs should become necessary the Mixit 25 should be
returned to the manufacturer or their authorised distributor.
