DIMM Configuration
The memory configuration rules for the server are as follows:
■
The motherboard provides sixteen slots for DIMMs.
■
Eight or sixteen slots on the motherboard must be filled with a DIMM.
■
Every DIMM must be of the same size and type.
■
Each DIMM is shipped with a label identifying its rank classification. The following rank
classifications are supported.
Note -
Single-rank DIMMs are not currently offered.
