Factory Settings
The Factory Settings menu is password-protected. These settings ensure that your
freeze dryer functions according to manufacturer specifications.
For assistance, contact SP Service at (877) 548-4666. For factory setting parameters,
refer to Appendix B: Factory Settings.
Service Routines
The Service Routines menu is password-protected. This menu includes pre-
configured system parameters based on your freeze dryer and specifications.

Relay Test
Access the Relay Test menu to perform output tests on each solid-state relay. These
tests can assist when troubleshooting electrical or mechanical problems. Additionally,
you can use the relay tests to observe the output sequence during a freeze dry run.
Only a qualified SP Industries Technician should interpret the results of a relay
function test. For relay test parameters, refer to Appendix B: Factory Settings.
Note: All control loops are disabled unless you are viewing the Synoptic screen.
Vacuum Pump Oil Time
The Vacuum Pump Oil Time screen is designed to help protect and prolong the life of
your vacuum pump. This screen displays the time since the last oil change
(hours/minutes). The Vacuum Pump Maintenance alarm triggers when the Vacuum
Pump Oil Time exceeds the Pump Oil Change Hours. A qualified technician should
reset the Vacuum Pump Oil Time after each service.
Consult your freeze dryer and vacuum pump manuals for more information about your
vacuum system. For more information about the alarm, refer to Appendix A:
Troubleshooting.
