Step 1. CPU Installation

Your SY-6BE+ mainboard comes with a CPU retention set kit. The

retention set is used to hold the Pentium

®

 II processor attached to

the Slot 1 CPU connector on the mainboard.

Follow these instructions to install your Pentium

®

 II processor

correctly.

1. Unpack the Retention Set Kit

Gather all of the items included in the retention set kit, as shown in

the following figure:
