General Troubleshooting

Storing the Grass Trimmer

Step 1 - Storing the Grass Trimmer for Short Periods

Maintenance

Maintenance Schedule

•  Drain all fuel from tank into a container approved for petrol. Run engine until it stops. Clean

all foreign material from the trimmer. Store it in a well-ventilated place that is inaccessible to

children.

•  Keep away from corrosive agents such as garden chemicals and de-icing salts.
•  Abide by all ISO and local regulations for the safe storage and handling of petrol. Excess fuel

should be used up in other 2-Stroke engine powered equipment.

•  Remove any coarse dirt.
•  Wipe the machine with a soft damp cloth.

Step 2 - Storing the Grass Trimmer for Extended Periods

•

Clean air filter.

•  Replace the spark plug with an exact replacement.

Performing routine maintenance correctly on your grass trimmer will ensure you get years of

trouble free use.
