SET UP AND OPERATION
NOTE: IMPACT WRENCH IS NOT RECOMMENDED

The SIM pull ™ Flange is compatible with:
• Arbor Hole- 3” Only
• Minimum Reel Diameter- 22”
• Maximum Reel Diameter- 34”
• Minimum Reel Thickness- 5/8”
• Maximum Load Capacity- 2000lbs
1. Position the SIM pull ™ Flange with the black arrows facing up
(Fig 1).
2. Using a power drill, with a ¾” socket:
A. Actuate the screw jack aligning the aluminum color hub arrow
with the designated reel height or reel name on the attached
scale (Fig 2).
B. Insert the hub lock completely in the arbor hole and tighten the
screw on the hub until it is firmly attached (Fig 3-4).
NOTE: Use your foot to brace the bottom of the flange while
applying pressure to the top of the flange with your hand to
ensure flange is completely seated before tightening hub screw
(Fig 3A)
3. Confirm the hub is tight by using ¾” wrench turning ½ to 1 full
revolution (Fig 5).
4. Place the 2 chocks with the magnets facing up, on the front and
back of the SIM
pull ™ Flange (Fig 6).
5. Repeat steps 1 thru 4 to attach the second flange on the opposite
side of reel.
6. Using a power drill with a ¾” socket:
WARNING: Ensure drill clutch is set below 20 to prevent
the possibility of wrist injury.
A. Actuate the screw jack to lift reel off the floor (Fig 7).
B. Continue lifting until the aluminum hub arrow aligns with
loaded position on the scale (Fig 8).
7. Repeat steps 6 to lift the second flange on the opposite side of
reel.
8. Remove the chocks to transport the reel to the desired location.
9. Always chock the SIM
pull ™ Flange when storing reel and/or
paying off reels, to prevent any unintentional movement.
