The Valve Test Mode can be enabled or disabled by toggling the button on the right. Once enabled, each valve on
the page may be actuated by pressing the corresponding button. This mode can be used specifically for
troubleshooting purposes or pressure testing.

AUTOPURGE SYSTEM TUNING
1.
Close each APS ball valve. Make sure each flow
control (Figure 26) is turned all the way clockwise.
2.
Bring the Fire Protection System up to Supervisory
Pressure.
3.
Mark each ¼” APS purge line from all zones so that
they can easily be matched to the appropriate zone
number on the Quick-Check PowerSaver Manifold,
then remove all of the ¼” purge lines from the
Quick-Check PowerSaver Manifold.
4.
Slowly open the ball valve on each APS, then turn the APS flow control (Figure 24) counter-clockwise until the
center of the float bead reaches setting D.
Disconnect tube at the
Quick-Check PowerSaver
Manifold if it was
installed before setting
the APS flow. Set flow to
proper amount with tube
installed.
