Add remote control & wireless switch
This instruction manual is intended for users, and explains the function of the remote control and
the wireless switch for the SOREX FLEX digital cylinder.
Introduction
The remote control is available in two different variants. Either as mobile remote control (Image 1
left), or as wireless switch (image 1 right), with a potential free contact. This contact can be
operated by an external opening system.
After the remote control or wireless switch had been taught in like described in this manual, an
opening can be executed, when button A has been pressed, or the potential free contact has been
activated.
Process of adding
Note: There has to be at least one administrator finger already saved on the cylinder, before a
remote control or wireless switch can be taught in. To teach in an administrator finger, proceed
as follows:
1. Press „Set“ button (see image 2) twice with the supplied pin and wait ~5 seconds.
2. Put your finger three times on the fingerprint sensor.
If there are already one or more administrator finger present, following instruction can be used, to
teach in a remote control or wireless switch:
1. Push the „Set“ button six times with the supplied pin and wait ~5 seconds.
2. Put an administrator finger on the fingerprint sensor.
3. Remote control or wireless switch
a. Remote control: Press Button A or Button B. The cylinder gives positive acoustic
feedback after a successful adding process.
b. Wireless switch: If the wireless switch is not yet connected, the contacts can be held
together. If the wireless switch is already built into the brickwork, and hooked up to an
external opening system, an opening has to be executed by the opening system. In both
cases, the cylinder gives positive acoustic feedback after a successful adding process.
