Step 4:
If making a new measurement,
tap ‘New Measurement’. The following screen will be
displayed.
Create a project by entering the ‘Analysis/Report name’ and by
choosing a measurement type.
If ‘Lab
measurement’ is chosen, the sound reduction index is denoted by R and if ‘Field measurement’ is
chosen, the same index is denoted by R'.
Tap on ‘Save’ to save the measurement o
r press

to
stop.
Step 5:
Input for the room dimensions and reverberation time
The next screen shows the input project name at the top, in this case, ‘CamiV64’.
Enter the receiving room dimensions and the reverberation time of the receiving room. Click on
‘S
ave
’
once done. The surface area and volume are computed as soon as all the dimensions are
entered. These are shown in orange.
