The cause is that the manual does not mention how to switch the lamp in CHARGE mode!
Once the USB charger is connected, you must switch the lamp to RECHARGE mode using the button
located at the end of the lamp body.
The LED located around the side button will start flashing ORANGE(slow pace) during the charge.
You may verify that the flashlight is charging after i.e one hour by taking the lamp in your hand. The body
should be slightly hot.
Once the charge is complete, the LED becomes fixed BLUE.
