WALKMAN
NWZ-ZX1
Connecting to a Wi-Fi network from the settings screen
If your Wi-Fi router does not support WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup), turn on the Wi-Fi function from [Settings], and
then make a Wi-Fi connection by selecting a network from the list of available networks.
1. In the Home screen, tap - [Settings] - [ Wi-Fi].
2. Tap the network you want to use from the list.
3. Enter a password, if needed, and tap [Connect].
Hint
If the network SSID of the access point that you want to use is not shown in the network list, add the network
manually.
If you are connecting to a Wi-Fi network for the first time, select a method for setting up a Wi-Fi connection.
When you are in range and [ Wi-Fi] is on, your Walkman will automatically reconnect to a network to which you
have connected before.
To check the MAC address of your Walkman or other Wi-Fi details, tap - [Settings] - [ Wi-Fi] - -
[Advanced].
Note
Please contact the manufacturer of your Wi-Fi device for information such as how to set the access point.
