RS-232:
Wire the Panel RS-232 projector port to a male DB9 as follows:
TX to

BE SURE to set the hardware switch labeled
RS-232C RS-422A
(located near the com port) to
RS-232C
III. Additional Projector Information
The Sony has several configurable modes must be set at the time of installation:
•
DEVICE INDEX SWITCH
: The Panel codes assume the projector network ID to 01.
•
RS-232C/422A
: The projector control port must be set to
RS-232C
.
•
SIGNAL SELECT
: Signal type for inputs A, B, and C must be specified on the on-screen menus.
•
POWER SAVING
: The Sony
Power Saving
feature will automatically shut the projector off after ten
minutes if it does not receive a valid input signal. You should disable this option in the onscreen
menus – especially if the installation does not include a power current sensor.
•
PROJECTOR BAUD RATE
: The Panel assumes the projector BAUD rate is set to 38,400 (factory
default).
