Removing and Installing a Memory Module
To change or add a memory module

Shut down the computer and disconnect all peripheral devices.

Unplug the computer and wait about an hour until the computer cools down.

Unscrew the screws (indicated by the arrows below) on the bottom of the computer and remove the memory module
compartment cover.

When placing your computer upside down, be sure to put the computer on a soft cloth to protect it from scratches.

Touch a metal object to discharge static electricity.
