Removing Memory Stick media

To remove Memory Stick media

Wait a minimum of 10 seconds after the Memory Stick

media finishes reading or writing data before removing the

Memory Card Adapter.

Double-click the

Safely Remove Hardware

icon

on the taskbar. The

Safely Remove Hardware

dialog box

appears.

Click to select the Memory Card Adapter in the

Hardware devices

window, if it is not already selected.

Click

Stop

. The

Stop a Hardware device

window appears.

Make sure the Memory Card Adapter is selected, and click

OK.

A message appears, stating it is safe to remove

the hardware device.

Press the PC Card eject button to the left of the PC Card slot, and pull the adapter out from the PC Card slot.

Pull the memory card out of the adapter.
