Improved viewing angle
With regular LCD monitors, users have to view
the screen directly from the front, for the image
and colour to look clear and without a ‘negative’
effect (dark colours appear lighter and the light
colours appear darker). Clear Bright LCD screens
all but eliminate this effect, and can be viewed
clearly even from extreme angles.
Improved Colour and Contrast
Clear Bright LCD screens use brighter lamps to
produce brighter colours and have a unique glare
filter that cuts down the amount of light being
scattered within the panel, producing richer
colours and darker blacks.
Improved viewing in bright light
The unique glare filter and low reflection coating
in a Clear Bright LCD screen reduces the impact
of light shining directly onto it. An improved
anti-glare coating dramatically cuts down the
reflectivity of background lighting, so that it is
barely visible. This is especially handy when
using a VAIO outside or when a LCD monitor is
placed near a bright sunlit window or in a room
with bright lights above.

VAIO FE series
Clear Bright High Colour LCD screens utilise
a dual lamp structure, achieving a level of
brightness more than 200% brighter than
a standard laptop LCD screen. They also
reproduce almost twice the amount of colour
that standard laptop LCDs reproduce. One of
the most noticeable improvements is in the rich
reproduction of deep colours such as red.

VAIO
MOTION EYE Camera
The MOTION EYE camera is a VGA camera
built into the LCD screen of selected VAIOs. The
camera can be used for multi-media functions
such as video conferencing. All VAIOs with the
MOTION EYE camera come with a microphone
built into the laptop.
