If the tray does not come out when you press the eject button, go to
My Computer
. Select the drive,
click the right button of your mouse and select
Eject
.

If this does not work, you can open the tray by inserting a sharp, pointed object into the hole next to the
eject button.

The CD-writing application software may be stopping the disk from being ejected.
The disc tray ejects even when it has been locked into place

Ensure that the disc is placed with the label side facing outwards.

The disc may be scratched. Place another disc to see if that is the reason.
❑
There may be condensation in the drive. Remove the disc and leave the drive open for approximately
one hour.
My floppy disk drive cannot write to a disk

The disk is write-protected. Disable the write-protect feature or use a floppy disk that is not write-
protected.
❑
Check that the disk is properly inserted into the floppy disk drive.
❑
Your floppy disk may be corrupt. Try to insert another disk.
The optional PCGA-UFD5 (USB) floppy disk drive is not recognized as drive A:
To set the UFD5 to A, proceed as follows :
