POWER switch and Pilot lamp
When pressed, the power turns ON and the pilot lamp lights up.
The lamp turns from red to green when the speaker relay
operates. It turns red when the protection circuit is operating.

ATT knob
A 21-point click attenuator. The 0 point is the reference input level.
During monaural operations, the output level can be adjusted
using the CHANNEL 1 level knob. (In this case, the
CHANNEL 2 level knob does not function.)

CLIP indicators
Lights up when the output signal is clipped and the distortion
rate reaches approximately 1% (8
Ω
, 1 kHz).
The Function of Protection Circuit
In the following cases, the protection circuit operates to cut the output
to protect the speakers and amplifier. The pilot lamp also lights up in
red.
• When the speaker output terminal is short-circuited, and
signal is output.
• When the DC (direct current) is output to the speaker output
terminal due to malfunctions
• When the temperature of the radiator in the amplifier exceeds
the regulated temperature
In these case, turn OFF the POWER switch, find the cause
and resolve the problem. Then turn ON the POWER switch
again.
