Error Messages on the CD/MD Discs
When a malfunction occurs in a CD or MD changer, an alarm is sounded and one of
the following error messages flashes for about five seconds.
Message Cause Remedy
Blank* The MD is blank. Replace with a recorded MD.
Error* The CD is inserted upside down. Insert the CD correctly.
High Temp The surrounding temperature has
risen to 120°F and playback becomes
impossible. Wait until the temperature falls.
NO Disc There is no disc in the magazine. Insert a disc or discs into the
magazine.
NG Discs None of the discs in the magazine can
be played back. Replace the discs with others.
No Magazine There is no magazine in the changer. Insert discs into the magazine and
load the magazine.
Not Ready The door of the MD changer is not
locked. Lock the changer.
Push Reset The changer does not operate
for some reason. Push the reset button on the control
panel or on the rotary remote holder.
The CD is dirty.
The MD does not play for some
reason.
Clean the CD.
Replace the MD.
There is no CD or MD. Insert CDs or MDs.
