Initialization Tool – Port Check

The Initialization Tool Port Check selection lets you verify that port forwarding has been

properly implemented. The system will only work if this test passes.

A) Select ‘Port Check’

B) Enter the

external

IP address in the CCM ‘Hostname’ field.

This will be automatically duplicated in the
RX ‘Hostname’ field. The external IP address can be found
by searching “what’s my IP” in Chrome.

C) Enter TCP port: 8443.

Port 8444 will be automatically added.

D) Verify the external IP address

is in the RX ‘Hostname’ field

E) Enter UDP port 10000.

Ending port 10019 will be automatically added.

Select ‘Start’

F) Confirm all ports display ‘PASS’ and click ‘Home’

G) If any ports show ‘FAIL’, then port forwarding rules must be

fixed
