Network Update

You can update the system software using the Network Update feature.
For the latest information about updates, visit

Network update process

Notice

During an update :
– do not remove the Memory Stick Duo™
– do not turn off the system
The system software may be damaged if the update is interrupted.

Network Update  

Connection to the network

Connects using a wireless LAN access point.
Turn on the system's WLAN switch.

Download (receive data)

Downloads update data from the network. The update data is saved on the 
Memory Stick Duo™ inserted in the PSP™ system.

Update (software update)

Updates the system software using the data saved on a Memory Stick Duo™.
